Before Google was a verb, Charlie built his second website in two weeks, a site that ranked and reviewed search engines. A few months later he sold it for over seven figures to the top internet publisher.
He spent the next decade coaching small business owners on how to market online and increase sales and profits.
Then one of his previous coaching clients called with a big ask. After Charlie had helped him get his digital marketing agency started, the client’s sales took off and he grew his agency to a million dollars in revenue, but after a few years he was losing money. So he came back to Charlie to help him.
Which was when Charlie agreed to be the agency's managing partner in return for 50% of the business.
After the first few months, Charlie started to rebuild the business model, key marketing, sales and operational processes and the team.
By month three, Charlie and his partner were getting paid. Gradually revenue and profits grew going from less than zero to eventually 45%. By 2022, both partners were on track to make over seven figures each, well before taxes that is. Which was when they agreed it was time to sell. They put the agency on the market in June and had a very very profitable exit in September of 2022.

One of Charlie’s epiphanies, thanks to his wife, was when he discovered he didn’t need to work 60 hour weeks to be successful.
After selling his second website and buying a ski home in Vermont, Charlie was working too hard to use it except for the occasional weekend.
Finally, at his wife’s prodding, he hired a virtual assistant, outsourced fulfillment, so he could spend every other winter week in Vermont, skiing the mornings and working in the afternoons. Not only was this a lot of fun, his revenue and profits doubled.
